storemore Spain Awarded “Best Facility of the Year” 2025 at the AESS Congress
It’s awards season again and once more, the team behind one of our fantastic brands, has excelled themselves amongst their peers in the industry.
We’re thrilled to announce that our storemore facility in Móstoles, Spain has been crowned the “Best Facility of the Year” at the 2025 Spanish Self Storage Association (AESS) Congress.
This outstanding performance builds on the numerous awards achieved to date, particularly in the last two years, demonstrating our commitment to developing market-leading facilities that provide a state-of-the-art storage experience.
The Móstoles store opened on the 1st of August 2024 and provides over 900 individual storage units, ranging from 1m² to over 20m², with a combined total space of 4,043 m². This store leads on sustainability, being the first self-storage facility in Spain to achieve BREEAM Excellent certification. It includes a 72kW PV system, meaning that energy consumption is reduced by up to 70%, EV charging stations, bicycle parking and a green roof that provides rainwater harvesting along with habitat provision for birds and insects. Additionally, customers benefit from our innovative approach with digital, app-controlled access and electronic locks and LoRaWAN environmental monitoring. From covered loading bays to wide corridors, the whole approach puts the customer experience at its heart. It’s therefor unsurprising that it has a 4.9 rating on both Google and Trustpilot, where customers comment on the personalized care they have received.
